Las Vegas Album
As mentioned earlier on previous blog post, this year was the MIT Pi Reunion for the 2007 graduating class in Las Vegas. I went to meet my fraternity pledge brothers and take a few pictures of the city.

Portland Japanese Garden Album
For some reason, I always am partial to Japanese gardens, even before my injury. The tranquility and bliss within them calms me down and helps me understand myself better. Leavenworth Album
Here are some pictures I took in Leavenworth, Washington. It is a small quaint town with a German theme in the downtown area. My dad had some business here, so mom and I decided to turn it into a vacation, bringing the camera in hand.
We stayed there a weekend, and I have to admit after then, I got rather tired of the German mood, even though I am an eighth German. I found the food rather bland....

Aurora Borealis in the Northwest
Last night, my mom told me that the aurora borealis, or northern lights were appearing. They occur from the solar wind hitting the magnetic poles of the earth, creating plasma based off the molecules in the ionosphere.

To Refine My Limits
Earlier this year, I took a study at the speech and hearing clinic at the University of Washington for people with aphasia. I just recently got admitted to the program. This fall, I will be going to the UW for two to three hours a day, five days a week, to reduce my aphasia.

Being in Las Vegas with a brain injury was definitely taxing. I admit that the short two and a half days I stayed was enough stimulus for me for a while.
