Well for all you John fans we are busy getting ready for our return trip to Boston. It has been a while for all you John fans for information regarding his therapies and how things are progressing. We have felt a bit like we may be reaching the end of some of the therapies, specifically occupational and physical. Today we had all three plus vocational. It was a long but fruitful day. We had our first appointment with Vocational Therapy this past Tuesday. We just had the evaluation but feel she will be someone we fit well with. She will be the person to help with the transition with being home again and working to getting back to school. We will see her one day per week. Enclosed is a picture of the boys and I on Mother’s day. I am truly blessed to have this picture this year. The Lord has blessed me with more days to be a mother to my two sons. Well a few new things and as some of you may remember the family meeting taking place yesterday. We were glad to be able to express our concerns. They were open to these and we walked away feeling like things may be working more at a pace for him and an interest in what he is more interested in. In speech therapy they have tended to give him work sheets and he finds them to feel like busy work....

Well for all you John fans. He has been trying to hard to make sense of all that has happened to him. He is working on thinking about why this would happen to him. He feels like all things happen for a reason and that God has a plan. So far he also feels like the pace of work isn’t like it was at MIT. The therapist don’t give him much to work on at home so he is finding himself bored...
